My grandmother had a beautiful chandelier with glass prisms hanging in her parlor. I will admit I really disliked it when the time rolled around twice a year to hand wash the prisms.   For some reason she always waited for me, her only granddaughter, to spend the weekend with her for us to tackle this job. We spent many hours carefully removing the prisms, hand washing and drying them, then reconnecting them.  Even though I whined and complained, those were truly the best times shared with my grandmother.  On my many shopping sprees for unique items, I would usually see broken lamps and bags of glass prisms.  They were just waiting for me to recreate a way for them to be loved again.  Hence....my sun catchers. Again, as with the wind chimes, please contact me for more information.
